Local Educational Enrichment Activities

Destination Imagination (DI): is an exhilarating after-school activity in which students work in teams to solve mind-bending challenges and present their solutions at a local Tournament. For more information go to: www.idodi.org

First Lego League: "To transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes." First Lego League is not just a robotics competition, but much more- a place for kids to build teamwork and leadership skills, and to develop their critical thinking ability. After-school enrichment groups: Chess Club ; World Language Club; Mathcounts

GSVA: GSVA's mission is to provide a level of creative-thinking education and visual literacy training unobtainable through traditional institutions. Our programs will cultivate self-esteem, problem-solving skills, self-discipline and cultural awareness. www.gsvaonline.org

MATHCOUNTS is a national enrichment, club and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement.  To secure America's global competitiveness, MATHCOUNTS inspires excellence, confidence and curiosity in U.S. middle school students through fun and challenging math programs.
